
I found SOMEONE named Ram Rai who had enlisted in the British Army during World War I on here (scroll near bottom of page till u come across a Ram Rai): Now, call it what you want, but it seems somewhat believable. He had been in a British/India Gurkha regiment sent to France and had fought there in the war, returning home to Nepal in 1920. Coincidentally where 114-year-old Mary Josephine Ray had resided prior to her departure from life, sadly. He was born in Nepal, and moved to Manchester, New Hampshire.
